What about social media accounts when I die?
You may be on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn or Google. Perhaps you have Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon Prime. You may use email or WhatsApp. You may have a mobile phone, landline, gas account, electricity account or Council Tax account. The likelihood is that you have a digital footprint.
These need to be dealt with when you die. All organisations need to be informed of your death and many need to close your accounts to protect your identity even in death.
